About Our Chapter

Welcome to Pi Beta Phi at Stanford University! Being a Pi Phi at Stanford transcends living in a beautiful house, belonging to a social organization, and immersing oneself in an academic community. In addition to all of these things, our chapter is a community of diverse women discovering who they are while creating life-long friendships. From varsity athletics to artistic endeavors to community service organizations, Pi Phis are passionate and motivated and make being a Stanford Pi Phi a truly exceptional experience.

A Letter From Our President

The CA Alpha chapter of Pi Beta Phi is a diverse, passionate, driven, compassionate and ambitious group of women. Our members are participating, competing and leading in an extraordinary breadth of areas on campus, from teaching computer science classes, writing theses about complex international security issues, constructing prostheses for local veterans, competing in Division I athletics, leading tours on campus, studying abroad around the globe and giving back to the community. Pi Phi is also active on campus, from hosting various philanthropy events to benefit Pi Beta Phi's national philanthropy, Read>Lead>Achieve, such as Arrowspike, our fall volleyball tournament, to volunteering at the local women’s shelter. Even with the diversity of what we participate in on and off campus, we all are able to share the bond of Pi Phi together, especially in our commitment to its core values: integrity, honor and respect, lifelong commitment, personal and intellectual growth, philanthropic service to others and sincere friendship. These values unite us as a community and enable us to support one another through all our endeavors. Throughout my time as a Pi Phi, every member has offered countless new perspectives and truly pushed me to try new things. I am incredibly honored to be able to lead such an amazing community in 2018.
